Reviews of Leonardo Edinburgh Murrayfield Hotel
-
Gareth
The food was outstanding and the bar was modern.
-
Brian
The standard double room here is modern and comes with a large bed, and the food is fabulous and outstanding.
-
James
Had a really good stay for two nights, glad I've chosen it. The breakfast was free and plentiful with many elements, bottle of juice, both coffee machines out of action, had everything you could want. ...
-
Adam
pleasant low-budget hotel in great and lovely location opposite a lovely nature reserve with good views & a welcome walk after a long drive.
-
Roger
The superior king room was spacious and fancy. the location of the property was marvellous, as it was near buses, shops, and pubs. - the hotel was located 2 km from tourist attractions like a large parkland zoo....
-
Charles
Polite staff on night shift, immaculately clean rooms. Beautiful building, pleasant and decent location really close to restaurant and Edinburgh.
Though the breakfast itself was plentiful and delicious, it certainly has to be included.
-
Stephen
Its secure, central location was a plus.
Their breakfast was fairly basic.
-
Sarah
The breakfast here is delicious, it's the best I've ever had, with pastries and a bottle of juice included, and we booked a superior king room with a sofa bed.
-
Gordon
The service was good. The room was huge, almost too big for a single person. The breakfast buffet was good. The bed was very comfortable.
The floor creaks in many places. The sound insulation to the corridor was very low, so that you could see almost everything that was going on in the corridor. On the other hand, one can also hear well from the corridor what is going on in the room, which was rather unpleasant.
-
Peter
The breakfast buffet was excellent.

-
William
The location is particularly good and perfect, the check-in is smooth, the breakfast has a wide variety of options including cereal, pastries, and fruit.
-
Edward
At the breakfast buffet everything was available what the heart desires, the staff was super friendly.
We had unfortunately a room directly at the door to the corridor, where all run. It was thereby very loud!

Room was lovely and I found the staff very helpful. Our flight was cancelled due to the Ash Cloud and they were very helpful booking us in for a further 2 nights even though the hotel was very busy.
The hotel was a good bit outside the city, however, buses were fairly regular and taxis were only £10 into the city which wasnt too bad.
-
Paul
The staff was always polite, the restaurant had a great view, and the rooms had comfy large beds and nice valley views.

very close to all amenities yet in a quiet location that was almost rural.
